Ack, I haven't been drabbling as much (I keep forgetting!), but at least I've been doodling a bit more. I'm still gonna try to keep this up.

First, a drabble from January 10, because I also forgot to post it, d'oh.

Drabble a Day 2015
January 10, 2014
Daily Goal: 100 Words
This Day's Output: 109 Words
Series: None
Characters: A boy and a girl.

Author Notes:
I wrote this on my phone a few minutes before going to bed, NaNoWriMo style. Not really sure what's going on, but I like the direction it's taking. Maybe I'll continue it.

This drabble is a raw, rough, and unedited practice piece.

She never really understood what it meant whenever he made a joke at her. It seemed needlessly cruel to harp on her thighs when she already had enough trouble getting around on her own. "Lighten up, it's just a joke," he would laugh, and then look away. "I love you, but you know what I mean, right?"

She didn't know what he meant, but she knew she could not keep going like this much longer. When she confessed to him the week after, he choked on his Coke and stared at her, wide-eyed.

"I thought that was what you meant," she said.
"No," he answered, "not at all."
